Writing this, I am in Kansas City, MO visiting the International House of Prayer for the Luke 18 Project Leadership Summit. This is my first time at IHOP; it has been an amazing experience. The leadership here has cultivated a culture of worship. The missions base has all the things we think we need – a coffee shop, an outstanding bookstore, slick technology and slick marketing – but over and above that THEY HAVE GOD; and they got Him first. The rest came later to accommodate the people.
He said He inhabits the praises of His people. In the Global Prayer Room they worship and intercede for Jesus’ end-times purposes all of the time. It never stops. They rotate full bands on two hour shifts all day and all night. They’ve been doing it for years.
